The Foltz’s Story

There’s a story behind every Foltz’s Pretzel. It all began in 2004, when Dennis Foltz started the first stand at Reading Fairgrounds Farmers Market. Later, he was joined by his son Ryan Foltz. Right from the start, folks fell for Foltz’s pretzels with their unique sweet and salty flavor. Different than a sourdough pretzel, Foltz’s Pretzels are packed with buttery goodness using a secret recipe perfected over time.

Remember, it’s a secret, so we’ll never share it.

In no time at all, Foltz’s Pretzels became downright famous, steadily growing from that first stand in Reading to 8 locations in the Central Pennsylvania region. Our mobile concession stand was built in 2014, and since then, you’ll find us at events like the Hershey Car Show, Hamburger Festival in Hamburg, A Day in Doylestown and Italian Festival in South Philly.

Foltz’s Pretzels continues to grow, gaining new Foltz fanatics every day.

From original buttery Foltz’s Pretzels to popular Pretzel Dogs made with Kunzler beef hot dogs, there are more than 10 Foltz Pretzels varieties to choose from. Try something zesty, like a garlic pretzel, flavorful onion, or a sour cream & onion pretzel. Try something sweet, like a tender cinnamon sugar pretzel.

There’s even an Everything pretzel with…well, everything. Smaller bites feature the #1 best selling pretzel nuggets with a choice of dips or mini smoky cheezers bite-sized mini sausages infused with cheddar cheese and wrapped in pretzel dough.

What goes better with a Foltz’s Pretzel than a freshly squeezed beverage, like old-fashioned lemonade, vibrant orangeade, tangy limeade or luscious strawberry-ade. Drinks are prepared fresh to order and made with real fruit halves squeezed in a old-time lemonade press.

You can also get daily fresh brewed Luzianne iced tea. Ahhh, refreshing!
